Playing in the snow :)

We got all geared up to play in the snow. Jackson stuck his face in the snow and started eating it. Brian pushed me in the snow...it was freezing! AJ sat on the snow just for a second! It was fun :)

New Year Updates!

I can't believe how fast the boys are growing up.

Jackson is now 2 1/2 and over 3 feet tall! He is talking in sentences, counts to ten, is learning ABCs, and more. He is doing really well with potty training. He loves trains and cars. He is starting to like games like memory and hide and seek. He loves the park, especially the swings and slides. He loves running and is very fast. His favorite characters are Lightning McQueen, Dora, Mickey Mouse and Thomas the train. He is a great big brother, struggling sometimes with sharing but loves giving hugs and kisses. He likes to paint with water colors and is starting to draw shapes. He is a ball of energy!

Alex is 9 months old, 28 inches tall and weighs 19 pounds. He is crawling all over the house and pulls himself up on everything. He constantly follows Jackson around and wants to be involved in whatever his big brother is doing. Alex now has 6 teeth and, using these teeth, he is eating anything that is put in front of him. He loves music and has developed some unique dance moves. He loves splashing in the bath.

Both boys enjoy helping dad cook and Jackson is, at times, very helpful in taking care of his little brother. They both enjoyed seeing all of their family during the holiday break and they are very excited for family to come visit!

More Snow!

We got over 24 inches of snow last night! It was so beautiful outside. Poor Brian was shoveling the driveway for an hour and half!

Back Home with lots of Snow!

There was a lot of snow on the ground when we got home, we could barely get in the driveway!

Christmas in Nebraska :)

The boys had so much fun in Nebraska with Grammy and Grandpa. Grandpa was doing really well after his surgery and had a great time with the boys. Grammy and Jackson fed the calves and did chores. AJ had fun with his new caterpillar toy and Jackson had fun on his new bike and combine. Jackson drove the truck with dad. We also had fun visiting with Great Grandpa and Grandma Ansley. Thank you for such a fun time. Love and miss you guys :)

Christmas and New Year's in Colorado :)

We flew to Colorado the day after Christmas. The boys were so excited to Nana and PopPop. They had fun playing at the house and going to the shop. Jackson had so much fun playing with Uncle Matt and all his tractors! Great Grandma held AJ most of the time :) We went to Aunt Nay's for New Year's and fun playing games and eating lasagna. We had so much fun visiting with all our family. Thank you, we love you guys! Happy Birthday Uncle Matt :)
